This was another successful installation for Globeweigh as we replaced an old weighbridge at Dale Farm in Cookstown.

We replaced a weighbridge which was over 30 years old with an all steel Titan model from our partners Weightron in Chesterfield.

The Titan’s robust weighbridge design has an excellent reputation for durability and accuracy. It has a fully welded drive-through steel structure, designed to withstand very high concentrated loads and continual use, making it ideal for harsh working environments in steel manufacture, quarrying, mining, construction sites, ports, and terminals.

The Titan is also suitable for short-term portable applications where the use of special load cell mount assemblies and steel ramps provide a low profile solution for temporary installations.

For the Dale Farm project, there was a lot of pre-installation work that had to go into it in order to install the bridge in a couple of days, which was our remit. Weightron had to replicate the load cell positions and manufacture the new Titan weighbridge to the exact dimensions of the old model.

To the satisfaction of everyone involved, particularly the client, the install went smoothly and was completed in just one day!
