The new cattle mart weighbridge at Kilrea Mart has been successfully installed, thanks to us at Globeweigh!

The project involved us replacing an old mechanical cattle weigher. It had been there for decades and Globeweigh installed a brand new electronic version at the Kilrea Mart.

One of the issues we had to overcome was to get the old machine dismantled and install the new cattle mart weighbridge over the course of a weekend so that it would be ready for use for Kilrea Mart’s Monday sale.

With five of Globeweigh’s best engineers on the job all weekend, I’m delighted to say that we got the job done exactly as planned.

The new system incorporates suspended load cells (to prevent ingress of
dirt) and is fully galvanised.
