Globeweigh has recently been awarded a second contract to manufacture bespoke stainless steel pig scales at SM Pigs Sion Mills (part of the Devenish Nutrition Group).

Globeweigh was asked to design a system which would fit into and existing run, with gates at both ends to allow for easy access. The existing plastic slats were incorporated, and this helped with keeping the platform clean. A wall mounted stainless steel display with “animal filtering” ensures accurate weighing despite the movement of the animals.
