June 2015 has seen the completion of a new manual weigh price labelling project at Pinkertons Pork and Bacon, Armagh.
As a current customer, they had contacted us looking to upgrade and replace their current manual labelling and weigh price labelling equipment.
Following a short visit and site assessment, we agreed that four Bizerba GLP”s would be the ideal solution for the weighing and labelling of a variety of pork products in a tough process environment
The GLPmaxx can be used as a label printer for product labelling in the food processing industry as well as in manufacturing trade and logistics.
It is perfectly suitable for dispatch and stock labels. In combination with the Bizerba weighing technology it is the perfect starter kit for manual price labelling.
The printers are network compatible and can also be controlled directly via the Internet. Settings and maintenance of the printer unit can be made without need of any tools – reducing costs and increasing print quality.
The new PC-based hardware provides more memory space and fast label data processing. By means of an USB port it is easy to run data back-ups and to buffer statistical data. The operating terminal GT-7C with colour display can be operated ergonomically and thus reduces operating errors.
The GLP is our go to manual labeller, tough, robust and with ease of use…This labeller feels right at home in the meat industry!
