Driver Operated Weighbridge

Globeweigh has recently completed the installation of a new driver operated weighbridge for the National Roads Authority (NRA) at Balbriggan Co Dublin.

The system will help monitor road salt usage in the winter, and the Gardai and HGV drivers will also avail of it to check-weigh vehicles.

A driver terminal will allow authorised operators to weigh, record and print without the necessity of going into the office via the SELF 800 Driver Operated Terminal. Records are stored on a PC for reporting
purposes.
